We are an independent, female-owned beauty brand. Our founders, Suzanne Tuttle & Alexandra Grima, built Foile to shift the industry towards a more inclusive, conscious future combining backgrounds in nutrition and design. As founders we were overwhelmed by the beauty industry, instead driven to lead with principal products you can depend on.
BOTTLE DESIGN
We believe that good design is inherent to longevity. The same goes for quality. That’s why we spent over 2 years in research & development to create our signature Foile bottle, working closely with James Walsh at boutique industrial design firm VERT in Sydney. Made to fit ergonomically in the palm of your hand. The signature shape is symbolic of our individualistic approach to beauty. The bold chunky lid mirrors the shape of the Foile drop which sits discreetly above the ‘i’ in our logo, representing a drop of oil. The natural shape adds to the tactility of the experience and nods to the natural ingredients found in our skincare. Crafted for quality, we opted for glass to withstand years of use, made to be refilled time and time again.
IMPACT
We are committed to being progressive and adopting a 360 approach, which means continuously workshoping our practices so you can access skincare in a way that makes you feel good. Change starts with us, that’s why our products are refillable, clean and cruelty-free. We are conscious of our environmental and social impact and are committed to moving towards a circular beauty model. Continuously researching, learning and exploring ways in which we can reduce our impact, regenerate our ecosystem and support our social missions.
